There is a full XC season for 2023/2024, which will include all of the East District XC matches this year. The championship will be decide by the criteria below:

  • Juniors U13+ will be the best 3 out of the 5 races to count which must include either the East or the National XC Champs.
  • U11’s championship is also best 3 out of the 5 races to count. As unable to participate in Championship races, a Junior ParkRun race on the National XC Championship weekend at Baxter Park have been added to the list. 
  • 10 points are awarded for 1st place in each age category, followed by 9 points for 2nd place, 8 points for 3rd place……… down to 1 point for 10th. .
  • Please note- points for the Club Handicap race are based on actual run times, not position.
