This is one of the very few uphill-only events in the Scottish hill-running calendar, a 7.2km run with 670m of ascent to the Munro summit.

The race is all on land rover track with a few stream crossings to negotiate (wet feet guaranteed!). Once at the top, you can retrieve your warm clothing from the land rover and make your way back down to the barn, where there will be tea, sandwiches and cakes to tuck into while you wait for the prizegiving. We’re trying to go ‘greener’ so please bring your own cups for tea & coffee to cut down on polystyrene waste. Entries on the day from 12:00 and close at 1:20pm (this is to allow time to transport your gear to the top). You must supply clothing (full body cover) to be taken to the summit and entries are restricted to over 17s.

In the event of poor weather an alternative course may be run &/or you may be required to carry full waterproof body cover including hat & gloves with you so please come prepared.

There is also a 1km Glas T Toe Tickle fun run at 2:30pm for any younger runners who wish to take part , so why not bring the family?

Our thanks to Dalmunzie Estate for supporting this event. For more info, give Steve Matthews a call on 01382 807181 or email at s.p.matthews@dundee.ac.uk
